I find it curious that when I'm on the freeway and I see someone coming up fast behind me, I always speed up so I can get in his lane ahead of him, when he's precisely the guy I want in front of me to cut through the traffic! Not exactly an odd thought, but an interesting one in an Andy Rooney sort of way.
